The Man Edition

How many times have you heard "the clothes makes the man"? Yes the guy might have a cute face - but seriously gents we are also looking at how you carry yourselves and ultimately what you are wearing ;
So below I have listed some general tips of what and what not to buy when next you go to the mall.

- Now just like women you always want to dress for your body type - every shirt can highlight the right features and the wrong ones. Make sure you wear the right kind of striped shirt for your build.

- The clothes you should wear no matter your body type should be fitted -without being tight.

- Wear a belt - A belt will nip in your waistline and make it appear slimmer. Just be sure not to make it so tight that you have a belly overhang.

- Its all about the fit remember, which includes the kind of collar you wear - if you are heavy set avoid turltenecks - opt for a v-neck instead; this will creat a sleeker silhouette and besides the v-neck will give the illusion you have a longer neck.

- If you are a tall and thin man - you also want to wear fitted items - you want to probably choose shirts with a large horizontal stripe across the chest area (see pictures below for examples) - this will make you shoulders look broader and will make you look like you have a perfect physique.

Anywhoo these are some just basic tips - I could go on and on about men's fashion - like when to go sockless, are flip flops a do or a don't for men, rolling up of the jeans. The list goes on but enjoy some pictures of some men's fashion and keep in mind that the only way you will learn is if you try new things.
So for all my American guys go ahead and try on those skinny jeans they wear in Europe and for my European guys go ahead and try the slightly looser fit jeans and maybe a pair of non dress shoes to go with your jeans.

Layered Look Always works for the slim looking man - but can work for any body types if the correct colors are chosen

Ed Hardy Tshirt - When you’re going around with a big logo on your shirt, you risk looking like a walking billboard. Just my thought.
