Hello my fashionistas, fashion week (spring 2011 collection) comes to a close this week in New York. During this time, I have looked at tons of fashions and decided to do a write up on Marchesa . I love love love Marchesa and if I had to choose a favorite formal dress designer, Marchesa would be it.
Marchesa was started in 2004 by British Born Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig their designs range from elegant eveningwear inspired by vintage and Asian influences with a very high fashion flair to bridal wear and now handbags. In addition, their designs can always be seen on the red carpet by A list celebrities.
Marchesa is based in New York and the collection is presently available in Neiman Marcus,Bergdorf Goodman in the USA and Harrods in London. Since 2004 Marchesa has branched out to Bridal wear and now handbags - but their formal wear/cocktail dresses are still their best sellers.
Glamorous with an element of conservativeness, the eccentric sophistication of the designs make Marchesa a must have - well at least for me :)
